Would you like to learn how to read mammal fieldsign and capture exciting footage of wild mammals on trail cameras?
Vulpes Ecology offers a bespoke two day course which will give you invaluable skills in documenting mammals. Whether for fun or to gain experience for consultancy or scientific research, you will learn how to find and identify mammal footprints, feeding signs and scat – and how to avoid confusion with dogs and livestock! A range of trail camera tips and techniques will also be shown, including how to reduce the risk of cameras being stolen and how to select the most promising camera locations.
Courses: Held in the beautiful and mammal-rich village of Chaldon in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Next date TBC.

Guided Wildlife Walks
Explore the stunning landscapes of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty on these two hour excursions. Depending on your interests, we can discover the rare flowers on the beautiful chalk grasslands of the North Downs ridge, search for foxes and badgers by night, or learn to identify mammal fieldsign in ancient woodland.
